Pick the visits you want. Everything each plan does, and doesn't, is in the list.

One visit, before the hot months.

    • One visit each year
    • The ten-point check
    • Drain line cleared and flushed
    • Filter changed at the visit (you supply it)
    • Your calls returned first
    • Discount on repair labor
    • A monthly look-in while you're away, May to October
  • Spring and fall

A plan pays for scheduled check-ups. It is not insurance and does not promise nothing will break, and it does not cover parts, repairs, refrigerant or a new system: we write the price for anything we find and wait for your yes. The discount is off labor on repairs only, not parts or equipment. It is billed once a year. Cancel any time by phone, text or mail: cancel before renewal and we bill nothing; cancel mid-year and we refund the visits you haven't used. We call you 30 days before it renews.

Every visit

What we check, in this order

Ten things, written on one page that stays on your counter.

  • The thermostat reads true, and its schedule suits you

  • The filter: right size, its condition, how often you need to change it

  • The drain line and pan, cleared and flushed so they can't back up

  • The indoor coil, looked at for dirt and ice

  • The outdoor unit: coil clean, fan turning, plants cut back

  • Refrigerant pressures, read and written down

  • The wiring, the contactor and the capacitor, tested

  • The temperature drop across the system, measured

  • The breaker and the disconnect, and the heat strips or furnace if you have one

  • Your questions, written down and answered before we leave

While you're away

Closing the house up for the summer

The Away for the summer plan is for the months nobody is home to notice a problem.

  • Before you go

We do the ten-point check, set the thermostat with you and write down the setting you chose.

  • Each month you're away

We look at the thermostat setting, the drain line and the indoor air for damp, and text you and the person you name.

  • When you're back

We run the system before you arrive so the house is ready when you walk in.

Before you call

About the plan

Is the plan insurance?

No. It pays for scheduled check-ups and some labor discounts. Parts, repairs, refrigerant and a new system are priced separately and in writing.

Does it renew by itself?

Yes, once a year, and we call you 30 days before. If you tell us not to renew, we bill nothing.

How do I cancel?

Call, text or mail us. Before renewal we bill nothing. Mid-year we refund the visits you haven't used.

Can someone else pay for it?

Yes. A family member can pay, and we'll still talk to you about your own house.

What if you find a problem?

We write the price on the sheet and leave it with you. Nothing is fixed until you say yes.

Ready, or want to talk it over first?

Call and ask Corina to walk you through the plans. There's no wrong question.
