Replacing a system
If it's time, you decide when
We say so once, show you why, and then give you time. Most people take a few days.
We show you why
The system's age, what it has needed, and what the next repair would be. You see the same sheet we do.
We size it to your house
Not by the old unit's label. We measure the house and work out what it needs.
You get a written quote
The equipment model, the permit, the removal of the old unit, the warranty terms and how long the quote holds.
You take your time
No same-day price, no sign-tonight offer. Show it to your family.
What moves the number
What decides the price of a new system
We don't print prices for a replacement because every house is different. These are the things that change it.
The size of the system
Worked out from your house, not guessed.
The kind of equipment
Efficiency, and one speed or variable speed.
Your ducts
Whether they can be reused, sealed or need replacing.
Where the unit sits
Attic, closet or garage, and how hard it is to reach.
Electrical and the permit
Wiring updates and the county permit.
Taking the old unit away
Included in the quote, written on its own line.

Questions about replacing
How long will it take?
Ask us on the phone and we'll tell you for your house, and what we'll need cleared.
Can I pay over time?
Ask us. If we offer financing, we'll give you the lender's name, the term and the APR in writing before you decide, and it's subject to credit approval.
Will a new system lower my bill?
It might. We don't promise a figure; we'll tell you what we expect and why.
Want a second opinion?
Call us. We'll look at your system and tell you what we'd do.
